During last Tuesday's FCA meeting, our area representative, Mr. Will Parker, dropped in with delicious doughnuts and a meaningful message! Mr. Parker shared the parable of the wheat and tares, a lesson that left students inspired and motivated as we embrace a new month. Focus on growing strong in goodness, kindness, and love, rather than focusing on weeds. FCA meets each Tuesday at 7:30 AM and is sponsored by Mrs. G. Larkin.

Students in Mr. Izzy's 8th-grade science classes explored the following standards:

Construct an explanation using Newton's Laws of Motion to describe the effects of balanced and unbalanced forces on the motion of an object and analyze and interpret data to identify patterns in the relationships between speed and distance, and velocity and acceleration! We are impressed by how far a recycled water bottle, lots of masking tape, a little water, and cardboard can go!

We are proud to be American readers at WCMS.. wearing our red, white and blue and playing book bingo in the library practicing our literacy skills.

🚀📚 STREAM in Action at WCMS! 📚🚀 Our WCMS STREAM Academy students and teachers had an amazing time during Family Night as we traveled to the Primary/Elementary School for an evening of connection, creativity, and collaboration! 💙💛 It was a wonderful opportunity to engage families, share hands-on learning experiences, and showcase how we teach and learn “out of the box.” From interactive activities to meaningful conversations, the night truly reflected innovation in action. Together, we reflected, learned, and uplifted the voices and contributions that have shaped our world.
