We wrapped up the first half of the year with our STREAM Winter Celebration, welcoming students and families for a fun and meaningful afternoon of learning, creativity, and connection. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event a success.

Reminder for tonight, Warrior families! The Wilco STREAM I & II Winter Celebration for after-school students and their families will be held from 4:30–6:00 PM in the Primary/Elementary Lunchroom.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) traveled to Ingleside Baptist Church yesterday for the "The King is Here” Christmas program to see and hear the story that changed the world, the reason for the season!

Mr. Izquierdo challenged his students in Science class as they participated in a lab comparing and contrasting the voltage of fruits and vegetables. 🎉 Congratulations to our scholars who were nominated and invited to attend the 35th Annual UGA MidFest next week! 🎶 Our students will travel to Athens to join middle school musicians from across Georgia for an incredible learning experience. Students will study with clinicians, growing their musical talent, and connecting with other passionate young musicians. MidFest, established in 1990, is a three-day festival that brings together nearly 1,000 students from over 130 schools, culminating in a powerful final performance. 💙💛We are proud of our Warriors and look forward to celebrating their success with them next week. #WarriorPride #UGAMidFest #ExcellenceInMusic #MakingMiddleSchoolAmazing #BetheBrand

Ms. Williams maximizes instructional time by planning and delivering engaging learning experiences that push students to deepen their understanding of mathematical concepts. This week, students played Linear Equations Bingo to review converting from standard form to slope-intercept form, strengthened their problem-solving skills through a multi-room escape challenge focused on solving linear equations, and worked hard to deepen their understanding of proportional relationships. 💙💛WCMS scholars are learning, moving, and thriving in math! #LeadingfromtheMiddle #BetheBrand

This week in Mr. Jones’ and Mrs. Larkin’s math classroom, students used the Georgia Numeracy Project to work on personalized math goals based on their individual needs.
